Colony-Targeted Ant Elimination

Ant Control in Brentwood, MO, Not Just a Trail Spray

Name: Nex Pest Control
Telephone: +1-844-564-2570
Price range: $$
Rating: 4.9

Spraying the trail you see just scatters the colony — our Brentwood, MO technicians identify the species and bait to eliminate the source. A colony that seems to vanish overnight after a home spray often hasn't died at all — it's budded into two or three new colonies elsewhere in the structure. Most established ant problems involve more than the one visible trail you initially called about.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Our Specialized Ant Control in Brentwood, MO

Professional Ant Control technician working in Brentwood, MO

⚖

Species-Specific Identification

Carpenter, odorous house, and fire ants each need different bait and treatment — we identify before treating.

📍

Fast Brentwood Dispatch

Carpenter ant sightings, in particular, get prompt scheduling given the possibility of wood damage.

💰

Clear, Upfront Pricing

Pricing is set after inspection and species ID, not billed by how many ants you counted. We also keep separate bait formulations stocked for protein, sugar, and grease preferences, since guessing wrong wastes a full bait cycle.

✅

Bait Station Equipment

We favor baiting that reaches the queen over contact spray that only kills what it touches. Each inspection produces a simple trail-to-nest map, which speeds up any future visit.

Service Solutions

Ant Control in Brentwood, MO: Comprehensive Solutions

24/7 Emergency Ant Control experts in Brentwood, MO

Carpenter Ant Elimination

Carpenter ants excavate wood rather than eat it — we locate galleries via sound detection and frass patterns first.

Odorous House Ant Treatment

Treatment targets the full colony network, not just the visible trail.

Fire Ant Mound Treatment

Individual mound treatment combined with broadcast bait for yards with multiple active mounds.

Pavement Ant Perimeter Control

Pavement ants nest under slabs — treatment focuses on foundation-level entry points.

Interior Kitchen Trail Treatment

We match bait formulation — protein, sugar, or grease-based — to whichever species is confirmed. A thorough inspection looks beyond the visible trail to wherever a secondary colony might have split off.

Seasonal Perimeter Prevention

Recurring perimeter service catches seasonal pressure before it becomes an indoor problem. It also helps to keep mulch beds pulled back a few inches from the foundation, since that gap reduces ant bridge points.

Turned out to be carpenter ants, not the odorous house ants we assumed. Glad they checked before spraying anything.

Fire ant mounds treated individually plus a broader bait pass. Haven't seen a new mound since.

Byron T.

The kitchen counter trail disappeared within a week once they placed bait instead of just spraying it away.

Appreciated the explanation of why spraying visible ants doesn't fix anything long-term.

FAQ

Ant Control Questions From Brentwood Customers

Trusted Ant Control service in Brentwood, MO - Nex Pest Control

Contact spray disrupts the trail temporarily but rarely reaches the nest.

Look for bigger ants and fine wood-shaving debris — a byproduct of their excavation.

Colony elimination via bait typically takes one to two weeks as it spreads through the nest.

We typically combine spot mound treatment with a wider bait application.

Colony elimination clears the current infestation; a seasonal perimeter program helps prevent a new one establishing. Seasonal exterior treatment is the most reliable way to prevent a fresh colony from moving in after the current one clears.

Bait sits in enclosed stations or protected areas specifically to limit pet and child access. It also helps to keep mulch pulled back from the foundation a few inches, since that alone reduces bridge points significantly.
