Nex Pest Control brings licensed Pest Control technicians to Berlin with upfront pricing and same-day scheduling for active problems.
Nex Pest Control has spent years building a Pest Control operation around Berlin the right way: licensed technicians, documented treatment, and a dispatch system that actually answers the phone. That approach means fewer generic scripts and more decisions made by people who've actually seen the specific pest pressure common to Berlin, OH.
The company's approach grew out of a simple frustration with an industry that too often treats pricing and scheduling as an afterthought — we built the opposite. Every process decision, from how dispatch routes calls to how quotes are written, traces back to that original frustration with the way the industry usually operates.
Every technician on staff carries current state licensing, and we require ongoing training specific to the species most common across Berlin, OH, not a one-time certification that never gets revisited. We rotate technicians through refresher training specifically so field knowledge doesn't stagnate after the initial certification.
We built Nex Pest Control's Berlin dispatch around proximity, not a national call center reading from a script three states away. That local grounding is part of why arrival estimates here tend to be more accurate than a generic national average.
A few ants or a single mouse dropping can look minor, but by the time it's visible, the colony or population behind it is usually well underway. The visible sign is almost always the tip of a larger, established problem rather than the whole extent of it.
Mud tubes along your foundation, discarded wings near window sills, or hollow-sounding wood are early termite signals worth acting on before framing damage sets in. A licensed inspection can usually confirm or rule out activity within a single visit, which beats guessing based on a single visible sign.
Unexplained bites, small rust-colored spotting on bedding, or a musty odor in a bedroom are worth a same-week inspection rather than a wait-and-see approach. The earlier a bed bug infestation is confirmed, the more treatment options — including less invasive ones — tend to be realistically on the table.
Wildlife scratching, chewing sounds, or a strong odor from an attic or crawl space usually means an animal has already established a den, not just passed through.
When something can't sit until next week, our emergency dispatch skips the standard queue and routes the nearest available technician immediately. We stock emergency vehicles with equipment for the widest range of common Berlin, OH pest and wildlife situations, so most calls get resolved in a single visit.
Homeowners get a tailored plan — species identified, treatment scoped to the actual infestation, and a follow-up schedule that matches what was found. We walk new customers through the difference between a single treatment and an ongoing program, since the right choice depends heavily on what's actually driving the activity.
Commercial accounts receive scheduled visits with written compliance documentation, since a failed inspection costs more than the service itself. We coordinate around business hours and foot traffic patterns for commercial accounts, so treatment doesn't interrupt operations during peak times.
Termites, bed bugs, and wildlife each require different licensing, tools, and treatment windows — we scope the right specialist to the right job rather than sending one generalist for everything. Specialized service categories carry their own equipment loadout and, in some cases, separate state licensing that we verify before dispatch.
A quarterly exterior barrier treatment keeps seasonal pest pressure from ever reaching your door, adjusted for what's actually active in Berlin, OH that time of year. Preventive programs are priced as a package so homeowners aren't re-quoted every visit, with the schedule adjusted only when conditions genuinely change.
Sometimes the right first step is simply an inspection with a written report, without committing to treatment until you know exactly what's there. Diagnostic reports are provided in writing, useful for real estate transactions or simply deciding whether treatment is actually necessary right now.
A quick description of the activity and location shapes everything about how we route the job. Dispatch will ask a few clarifying questions on the call itself, since that's often faster than guessing on-site.
Dispatch is based on proximity and availability, not a fixed appointment slot three days out. Technicians carry equipment for the most common Berlin scenarios so a second trip for supplies is rarely necessary.
We inspect the property, identify the species and scope, and hand you a fixed price in writing before any treatment begins. If the scope turns out larger than expected, you'll see an updated written quote before we proceed, not a surprise on the final invoice.
Every job closes with a guarantee window and, where needed, a scheduled return visit — not a one-time spray and a goodbye. We explain what to expect in the days following treatment, since some methods show gradual results rather than an immediate stop.
Licensing and insurance aren't a footnote here — they're checked before a technician is ever dispatched to your Berlin property. We verify licensing status internally on a recurring basis rather than assuming a certificate earned years ago still reflects current training.
Calls route to a technician actually stationed near Berlin, not a national queue that reads a script and schedules three days out. We keep technicians positioned across Berlin specifically so a same-day request doesn't mean waiting for someone to drive in from another region.
Pricing is quoted flat and in writing, so there's no per-trap or per-spot upcharge waiting for you once the technician's already inside. If the inspection reveals a larger scope than expected, we requote in writing before proceeding rather than padding the invoice afterward.
Our satisfaction guarantee is documented on the invoice itself: continued activity gets a free return visit, full stop. We track guarantee windows internally so a follow-up visit gets scheduled automatically if a customer reports recurring activity.
Our satisfaction guarantee is written directly into the service agreement: if activity continues within the guarantee window, we return and re-treat at no additional charge. The guarantee terms vary slightly by treatment type, and we walk through exactly what's covered before any work begins, so there's no ambiguity later.
We track guarantee windows internally so a follow-up visit gets scheduled automatically if a customer reports recurring activity, rather than relying on the customer to chase it down. We'd rather stand behind the work with a real guarantee than compete purely on the lowest upfront price, since a callback usually means the first job wasn't done right.
The technician actually explained what he found instead of just spraying and leaving. First company that's done that in three tries.
We manage twelve rental units and needed one company that could handle all of them on a documented schedule. This has been the most consistent by far.
Called on a Sunday about wasps near our kids' play area. Someone was out within a few hours, not the following week.
Restaurant owner here — inspection paperwork has been flawless for two years running. That matters more than people realize.
Quoted price matched the final invoice exactly. No surprise line items, which is rarer than it should be in this industry.
Follow-up visit happened exactly when they said it would, no reminder call needed on our end.
Switched to their quarterly perimeter plan after years of one-off treatments. Genuinely noticed less seasonal activity by the second year.
Needed a diagnostic inspection before closing on a house. Report was thorough and delivered fast enough to meet our deadline.

Whether you're closer to the center of Berlin or out toward the edge of our service radius, dispatch routing accounts for both distance and urgency. We keep a running view of where service requests are concentrated across Berlin so technician coverage adjusts rather than stays fixed.
If you're just outside our typical Berlin radius, call anyway — we'll tell you honestly whether same-day service is realistic or if a slightly longer window applies.

Pricing is always quoted in writing first; we don't start work on a verbal estimate that can change later. Written pricing applies to every service tier, from a single visit to a full seasonal program.
Our emergency line covers urgent situations across insects and wildlife alike, with a live dispatcher answering any hour. A real person answers the emergency line — not an automated system — at any hour, every day of the year.
Yes — every technician carries current state pest-control licensing, and specialized work like termite or fumigation service requires additional certification we verify internally. We track renewal dates internally so a lapsed certification never puts a technician back out on a specialized job.
Inspection covers the whole property, not just the room where you've seen activity, since most infestations extend further than the visible symptom. We check both interior and accessible exterior areas, since entry points are often outside where the activity is actually visible.
Yes — quarterly and seasonal perimeter programs are available, scoped to what's typically active in Berlin, OH during each season. Recurring plans are priced as a package upfront, so there's no re-quoting confusion visit to visit.
Treatment placement is chosen specifically to minimize contact risk for children and pets in the home. If a household has specific sensitivities or concerns, mention them when scheduling so the technician can plan placement accordingly.
Continued activity after treatment gets a documented follow-up at no additional cost, per our satisfaction guarantee. A returning issue after the guarantee window has closed is still handled — usually at a reduced rate reflecting an existing customer relationship.
Commercial and multi-unit accounts are a regular part of our Berlin, OH service base, with scheduling built around your operating hours. Commercial scheduling is built around your operating hours specifically, so treatment doesn't disrupt business during peak times.
Not always — many exterior and perimeter treatments can be completed without anyone home, though interior work typically requires access. For recurring exterior programs, many customers don't need to be present for routine visits at all.
A brief description of the activity is usually enough for us to match you with the right technician and treatment type before the visit. We'd rather ask a few extra questions upfront than send the wrong specialist and waste your time.
