Rodent Control in Monument, CO — Trapped and Sealed Out

A trap catches what's already inside; a sealed gap is what stops the next one from moving in — our Monument, CO crew does both in one visit. Beyond droppings and noise, chewed insulation and wiring are real risks we flag on every inspection. Thoroughness on the sealing side matters as much as the trapping itself for a lasting result.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Our Specialized Rodent Control in Monument, CO

Professional Rodent Control technician working in Monument, CO
⚖

Exclusion-Trained Technicians

Our team treats this as construction work as much as pest control — hardware cloth, sealant, door sweeps, not just bait.

📍

Fast Monument Response

Fresh droppings or attic noise get bumped up the schedule — an active population doesn't wait for a convenient Tuesday.

💰

One Price for Trapping and Sealing

You'll know the full cost before anything's installed, priced off what the inspection actually finds.

✅

Attic-Grade Equipment

We carry hardware cloth and rodent-proof sealant built for exclusion, not consumer-grade traps alone. We also photograph every sealed entry point before and after, so you have documentation of the exclusion work done.

Service Solutions

Rodent Control in Monument, CO: Comprehensive Solutions

24/7 Emergency Rodent Control experts in Monument, CO
01

Norway Rat Ground-Level Exclusion

Ground-level rats mean foundation gaps and vent screens get priority in the sealing plan.

02

Roof Rat & Attic Sealing

Roof rats travel power lines and branches into attics — we seal soffits and roofline gaps specifically.

03

House Mouse Entry-Point Sealing

Mice need only a quarter-inch opening, so we check utility penetrations and door sweeps closely.

04

Attic Sanitation After Removal

Contaminated insulation and droppings get removed and the space sanitized once trapping wraps up.

05

Permanent Structural Exclusion

Exclusion means a barrier the animal can't simply chew back through.

06

Multi-Unit Monitoring Programs

Scheduled station checks with logged records for property managers who need documentation on file. We also check attic access panels and garage door seals, since those are common secondary entry points during follow-ups.

FAQ

Rodent Control Questions From Monument Customers

Trusted Rodent Control service in Monument, CO - Nex Pest Control

Rat droppings run larger, roughly rice-grain size or bigger; mouse droppings are smaller and more pointed, and noise timing differs too. We also inspect the roofline and chimney area during a standard visit, since those are entry points homeowners rarely think to check themselves.

Yes — trapping clears what's inside now, but sealing is what keeps the next one from moving in. A thorough seal job on the first visit is what actually prevents a second call a few months later, which is why we'd rather spend extra time sealing than rush to the next job.

We'd wait — disturbed droppings can aerosolize particles, and our crew handles that with proper PPE.

A typical job is a single day plus a short recheck window.

Mechanical trapping and sealing come first, especially around pets and kids; bait stations are reserved for specific situations like commercial perimeters.

Pet food left out and gaps around utility lines are frequent culprits we flag on inspection. It's worth checking your attic access panel periodically, since that's a common secondary entry point we find at follow-ups.
