A trap catches what's already inside; a sealed gap is what stops the next one from moving in — our Davenport, IA crew does both in one visit. Rodents also gnaw on electrical wiring, which turns a nuisance problem into a genuine fire-safety concern if left alone. A single missed gap can undo weeks of otherwise successful trapping and sealing work.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Our Specialized Rodent Control in Davenport, IA

Professional Rodent Control technician working in Davenport, IA

⚖

Exclusion-Trained Technicians

Sealing a quarter-inch gap takes different training than setting a trap, and that's specifically what our technicians do.

📍

Fast Davenport Response

Fresh droppings or attic noise get bumped up the schedule — an active population doesn't wait for a convenient Tuesday.

💰

One Price for Trapping and Sealing

You'll know the full cost before anything's installed, priced off what the inspection actually finds.

✅

Attic-Grade Equipment

We carry hardware cloth and rodent-proof sealant built for exclusion, not consumer-grade traps alone. Each job comes with before-and-after photos of the sealed gaps.

Service Solutions

Rodent Control in Davenport, IA: Comprehensive Solutions

24/7 Emergency Rodent Control experts in Davenport, IA

Norway Rat Ground-Level Exclusion

Ground-level rats mean foundation gaps and vent screens get priority in the sealing plan.

Roof Rat & Attic Sealing

Roof rats travel power lines and branches into attics — we seal soffits and roofline gaps specifically.

House Mouse Entry-Point Sealing

Mice need only a quarter-inch opening, so we check utility penetrations and door sweeps closely.

Attic Sanitation After Removal

Cleanup follows industry biohazard handling standards, not a quick vacuum and call it done.

Permanent Structural Exclusion

Hardware cloth, sweeps, and vent screens go in to physically block re-entry — not a temporary patch.

Multi-Unit Monitoring Programs

Recurring service for multi-unit properties comes with a written check-in schedule, not an occasional drive-by. A seasonal walk-around of the foundation catches new gaps that open after freeze-thaw cycles.

Our Process

Our Rapid Dispatch Process for Rodent Control

Call Dispatch

A quick description of the noise and location shapes which trap and sealing materials we bring.

Rapid Mobile Arrival

The technician shows up with both trapping and sealing supplies loaded, ready to handle it in one visit.

Expert Assessment & Quote

Inspection identifies both species and access points — foundation to roofline — before we quote anything.

Guaranteed Resolution

You get trapping, exclusion, and a documented recheck — not just traps left behind.

FAQ

Rodent Control Questions From Davenport Customers

Trusted Rodent Control service in Davenport, IA - Nex Pest Control

Gnaw-mark size and dropping shape usually settle it, and the technician confirms on inspection. A full inspection covers roofline and chimney access alongside the foundation, since rodents use whichever gap is easiest.

Exclusion is the permanent piece; trapping without it just resets the clock. We'd rather take the extra time to seal every gap properly than leave one open and get a callback in a few months.

Dry sweeping can release airborne particles, so it's safer to leave cleanup to the visit.

A typical job is a single day plus a short recheck window.

We lean on traps and exclusion before rodenticide in most residential jobs.

Easy food access, standing water, clutter, and unsealed foundation gaps are the usual suspects. It's worth checking your attic access panel periodically, since that's a common secondary entry point we find at follow-ups.
