Mount Rainier's Exclusion-First Rodent Team

A trap catches what's already inside; a sealed gap is what stops the next one from moving in — our Mount Rainier, MD crew does both in one visit. Rodents also gnaw on electrical wiring, which turns a nuisance problem into a genuine fire-safety concern if left alone. A single missed gap can undo weeks of otherwise successful trapping and sealing work.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Our Specialized Rodent Control in Mount Rainier, MD

Professional Rodent Control technician working in Mount Rainier, MD
⚖

Exclusion-Trained Technicians

Our team treats this as construction work as much as pest control — hardware cloth, sealant, door sweeps, not just bait.

📍

Fast Mount Rainier Response

Fresh droppings or attic noise get bumped up the schedule — an active population doesn't wait for a convenient Tuesday.

💰

One Price for Trapping and Sealing

Inspection sets one number covering both trap placement and exclusion work — no separate invoice for each.

✅

Attic-Grade Equipment

Snap traps, one-way exclusion doors, thermal imaging for nest zones, and sanitation gear for the cleanup after. Each job comes with before-and-after photos of the sealed gaps.

Service Solutions

Rodent Control in Mount Rainier, MD: Comprehensive Solutions

24/7 Emergency Rodent Control experts in Mount Rainier, MD
01

Norway Rat Ground-Level Exclusion

Ground-level rats mean foundation gaps and vent screens get priority in the sealing plan.

02

Roof Rat & Attic Sealing

Roof rats travel power lines and branches into attics — we seal soffits and roofline gaps specifically.

03

House Mouse Entry-Point Sealing

A mouse job lives or dies on finding every small gap — one missed opening undoes the rest.

04

Attic Sanitation After Removal

Contaminated insulation and droppings get removed and the space sanitized once trapping wraps up.

05

Permanent Structural Exclusion

Hardware cloth, sweeps, and vent screens go in to physically block re-entry — not a temporary patch.

06

Multi-Unit Monitoring Programs

Recurring service for multi-unit properties comes with a written check-in schedule, not an occasional drive-by. We also check attic access panels and garage door seals, since those are common secondary entry points during follow-ups.

Our Process

What Happens After You Call

3

Expert Assessment & Quote

Inspection identifies both species and access points — foundation to roofline — before we quote anything.

4

Guaranteed Resolution

Traps go out, gaps get sealed, and we schedule a follow-up check to confirm the population's cleared.

FAQ

Rodent Control Questions From Mount Rainier Customers

Trusted Rodent Control service in Mount Rainier, MD - Nex Pest Control

Gnaw-mark size and dropping shape usually settle it, and the technician confirms on inspection. We also inspect the roofline and chimney area during a standard visit, since those are entry points homeowners rarely think to check themselves.

Exclusion is the permanent piece; trapping without it just resets the clock. A thorough seal job on the first visit is what actually prevents a second call a few months later, which is why we'd rather spend extra time sealing than rush to the next job.

We'd wait — disturbed droppings can aerosolize particles, and our crew handles that with proper PPE.

A typical job is a single day plus a short recheck window.

Mechanical trapping and sealing come first, especially around pets and kids; bait stations are reserved for specific situations like commercial perimeters.

Easy food access, standing water, clutter, and unsealed foundation gaps are the usual suspects. We recommend a seasonal walk-around of the foundation, since freeze-thaw cycles can open new gaps.

Seal It Once, Stop the Repeat Visits

Trapping and sealing in the same visit beats a cycle of traps that never quite finish the job.
