A trap catches what's already inside; a sealed gap is what stops the next one from moving in — our Clinton, MO crew does both in one visit. Beyond droppings and noise, chewed insulation and wiring are real risks we flag on every inspection. A single missed gap can undo weeks of otherwise successful trapping and sealing work.
Our team treats this as construction work as much as pest control — hardware cloth, sealant, door sweeps, not just bait.
We move quickly on new reports in Clinton, since delay usually just means a bigger job later.
Inspection sets one number covering both trap placement and exclusion work — no separate invoice for each.
Snap traps, one-way exclusion doors, thermal imaging for nest zones, and sanitation gear for the cleanup after. Each job comes with before-and-after photos of the sealed gaps.
Ground-level rats mean foundation gaps and vent screens get priority in the sealing plan.
Roof rats travel power lines and branches into attics — we seal soffits and roofline gaps specifically.
A mouse job lives or dies on finding every small gap — one missed opening undoes the rest.
Cleanup follows industry biohazard handling standards, not a quick vacuum and call it done.
Exclusion means a barrier the animal can't simply chew back through.
Recurring service for multi-unit properties comes with a written check-in schedule, not an occasional drive-by. A seasonal walk-around of the foundation catches new gaps that open after freeze-thaw cycles.
Tell us where you're hearing it — attic, wall, kitchen — and whether you've seen droppings or gnaw marks.
We come prepared to trap and seal together, not schedule a separate trip for materials.
We trace droppings and gnaw marks back to the entry point and map every gap that needs sealing.
You get trapping, exclusion, and a documented recheck — not just traps left behind.
Months of store-bought traps got us nowhere. Technician found the actual gap under our deck ledger in twenty minutes.
Roof rats in the attic for weeks. Three roofline gaps sealed and the noise stopped within days.
We manage six buildings — they service all of them on a schedule and send logs I can hand to ownership.
Appreciated them explaining rat versus mouse signs before quoting anything. Didn't feel like a guessing game.
Two units in our building had chewed wiring behind the stove. Exclusion work solved it and our electrician confirmed no further risk.
Coverage includes Clinton and the surrounding region, weighted toward the property types that see the most rodent pressure. Properties near open fields or construction sites in Clinton tend to see rodent pressure spike seasonally, which shapes our routing. A documented history of past sealing work helps the next technician quickly rule out already-addressed entry points.
Rat droppings run larger, roughly rice-grain size or bigger; mouse droppings are smaller and more pointed, and noise timing differs too. We also inspect the roofline and chimney area during a standard visit, since those are entry points homeowners rarely think to check themselves.
Exclusion is the permanent piece; trapping without it just resets the clock. A thorough seal job on the first visit is what actually prevents a second call a few months later, which is why we'd rather spend extra time sealing than rush to the next job.
We'd wait — disturbed droppings can aerosolize particles, and our crew handles that with proper PPE.
A typical job is a single day plus a short recheck window.
We lean on traps and exclusion before rodenticide in most residential jobs.
Easy food access, standing water, clutter, and unsealed foundation gaps are the usual suspects. We recommend a seasonal walk-around of the foundation, since freeze-thaw cycles can open new gaps.
Trapping and sealing in the same visit beats a cycle of traps that never quite finish the job.
