A trap catches what's already inside; a sealed gap is what stops the next one from moving in — our Poland, OH crew does both in one visit. Beyond droppings and noise, chewed insulation and wiring are real risks we flag on every inspection. Thoroughness on the sealing side matters as much as the trapping itself for a lasting result.
Our team treats this as construction work as much as pest control — hardware cloth, sealant, door sweeps, not just bait.
We move quickly on new reports in Poland, since delay usually just means a bigger job later.
You'll know the full cost before anything's installed, priced off what the inspection actually finds.
Snap traps, one-way exclusion doors, thermal imaging for nest zones, and sanitation gear for the cleanup after. Each job comes with before-and-after photos of the sealed gaps.
Ground-level rats mean foundation gaps and vent screens get priority in the sealing plan.
Roof rats travel power lines and branches into attics — we seal soffits and roofline gaps specifically.
A mouse job lives or dies on finding every small gap — one missed opening undoes the rest.
Contaminated insulation and droppings get removed and the space sanitized once trapping wraps up.
Hardware cloth, sweeps, and vent screens go in to physically block re-entry — not a temporary patch.
Recurring service for multi-unit properties comes with a written check-in schedule, not an occasional drive-by. We also check attic access panels and garage door seals, since those are common secondary entry points during follow-ups.
Tell us where you're hearing it — attic, wall, kitchen — and whether you've seen droppings or gnaw marks.
We come prepared to trap and seal together, not schedule a separate trip for materials.
Inspection identifies both species and access points — foundation to roofline — before we quote anything.
You get trapping, exclusion, and a documented recheck — not just traps left behind.
Months of store-bought traps got us nowhere. Technician found the actual gap under our deck ledger in twenty minutes.
Roof rats in the attic for weeks. Three roofline gaps sealed and the noise stopped within days.
We manage six buildings — they service all of them on a schedule and send logs I can hand to ownership.
Appreciated them explaining rat versus mouse signs before quoting anything. Didn't feel like a guessing game.
Two units in our building had chewed wiring behind the stove. Exclusion work solved it and our electrician confirmed no further risk.
Coverage includes Poland and the surrounding region, weighted toward the property types that see the most rodent pressure. Properties near open fields or construction sites in Poland tend to see rodent pressure spike seasonally, which shapes our routing. We also keep records of prior exclusion work at a property, which speeds up diagnosis if a new gap opens up in a different spot later.
Rat droppings run larger, roughly rice-grain size or bigger; mouse droppings are smaller and more pointed, and noise timing differs too. We also inspect the roofline and chimney area during a standard visit, since those are entry points homeowners rarely think to check themselves.
Yes — trapping clears what's inside now, but sealing is what keeps the next one from moving in. We'd rather take the extra time to seal every gap properly than leave one open and get a callback in a few months.
We'd wait — disturbed droppings can aerosolize particles, and our crew handles that with proper PPE.
Most homes wrap in one visit for trapping and sealing, with a follow-up a week or two out to confirm.
We lean on traps and exclusion before rodenticide in most residential jobs.
Pet food left out and gaps around utility lines are frequent culprits we flag on inspection. We recommend a seasonal walk-around of the foundation, since freeze-thaw cycles can open new gaps.
