Rodent Control in Wilkes-Barre, PA That Actually Holds

Price range: $$
Rating: 4.9

If you're still hearing scratching after buying every trap at the hardware store, the entry point is still open — that's what we fix first. Rodents also gnaw on electrical wiring, which turns a nuisance problem into a genuine fire-safety concern if left alone. A single missed gap can undo weeks of otherwise successful trapping and sealing work.

Why Choose Our Specialized Rodent Control in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Professional Rodent Control technician working in Wilkes-Barre, PA

⚖

Exclusion-Trained Technicians

Our team treats this as construction work as much as pest control — hardware cloth, sealant, door sweeps, not just bait.

📍

Fast Wilkes-Barre Response

Fresh droppings or attic noise get bumped up the schedule — an active population doesn't wait for a convenient Tuesday.

💰

One Price for Trapping and Sealing

Inspection sets one number covering both trap placement and exclusion work — no separate invoice for each.

✅

Attic-Grade Equipment

Snap traps, one-way exclusion doors, thermal imaging for nest zones, and sanitation gear for the cleanup after. Each job comes with before-and-after photos of the sealed gaps.

Service Solutions

Rodent Control in Wilkes-Barre, PA: Comprehensive Solutions

24/7 Emergency Rodent Control experts in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Norway Rat Ground-Level Exclusion

Norway rats burrow at grade, so we work the foundation perimeter and deck footings, not just the attic.

Roof Rat & Attic Sealing

Attic access almost always traces back to a roofline or eave gap, which is where sealing starts.

House Mouse Entry-Point Sealing

A mouse job lives or dies on finding every small gap — one missed opening undoes the rest.

Attic Sanitation After Removal

Contaminated insulation and droppings get removed and the space sanitized once trapping wraps up.

Permanent Structural Exclusion

Hardware cloth, sweeps, and vent screens go in to physically block re-entry — not a temporary patch.

Multi-Unit Monitoring Programs

Scheduled station checks with logged records for property managers who need documentation on file. A seasonal walk-around of the foundation catches new gaps that open after freeze-thaw cycles.

Our Process

What Happens After You Call

Call Dispatch

A quick description of the noise and location shapes which trap and sealing materials we bring.

Rapid Mobile Arrival

We come prepared to trap and seal together, not schedule a separate trip for materials.

Expert Assessment & Quote

Inspection identifies both species and access points — foundation to roofline — before we quote anything.

Guaranteed Resolution

Traps go out, gaps get sealed, and we schedule a follow-up check to confirm the population's cleared.

FAQ

Rodent Control Questions From Wilkes-Barre Customers

Trusted Rodent Control service in Wilkes-Barre, PA - Nex Pest Control

Rat droppings run larger, roughly rice-grain size or bigger; mouse droppings are smaller and more pointed, and noise timing differs too. A full inspection covers roofline and chimney access alongside the foundation, since rodents use whichever gap is easiest.

Exclusion is the permanent piece; trapping without it just resets the clock. We'd rather take the extra time to seal every gap properly than leave one open and get a callback in a few months.

Dry sweeping can release airborne particles, so it's safer to leave cleanup to the visit.

Most homes wrap in one visit for trapping and sealing, with a follow-up a week or two out to confirm.

We lean on traps and exclusion before rodenticide in most residential jobs.

Easy food access, standing water, clutter, and unsealed foundation gaps are the usual suspects. We recommend a seasonal walk-around of the foundation, since freeze-thaw cycles can open new gaps.
