Nex Pest Control brings licensed Rodent Control technicians to Juneau City and Borough with upfront pricing and same-day scheduling for active problems.
Nex Pest Control has spent years building a Rodent Control operation around Juneau City and Borough the right way: licensed technicians, documented treatment, and a dispatch system that actually answers the phone. We measure success less by how many trucks are on the road and more by how few return visits an average job actually needs.
The company's approach grew out of a simple frustration with an industry that too often treats pricing and scheduling as an afterthought — we built the opposite. Every process decision, from how dispatch routes calls to how quotes are written, traces back to that original frustration with the way the industry usually operates.
Every technician on staff carries current state licensing, and we require ongoing training specific to the species most common across Juneau City and Borough County, AK, not a one-time certification that never gets revisited. Training covers both the biology of the pest and the practical realities of Juneau City and Borough's mix of older and newer construction, since each presents different entry points and harborage risks.
Local dispatch means the person answering your call actually understands Juneau City and Borough's mix of housing, seasonal pest patterns, and typical service radius. Technicians positioned across Juneau City and Borough County, AK mean a same-day request rarely depends on someone driving in from hours away.
A few ants or a single mouse dropping can look minor, but by the time it's visible, the colony or population behind it is usually well underway. The visible sign is almost always the tip of a larger, established problem rather than the whole extent of it.
Swarmers appearing indoors, frass near baseboards, or a foundation that shows mud tubing are the kind of signs that turn a manageable fix into a structural repair if ignored. Termite damage compounds quietly for months or years before it becomes visible, which is exactly why an early inspection matters more than it seems to at the time.
Bed bugs rarely announce themselves loudly — a few bites and some dark spotting on the mattress seam are usually the first and only warning before the population grows. Confirmation matters here more than with most pests, since several other insects and even non-pest causes can produce similar bite patterns.
A sudden increase in stinging insect activity near entryways, or the sound of movement in a wall void, often signals a nest or den that's grown large enough to become a real safety concern.
An active infestation, a sudden swarm, or a wildlife breach doesn't wait for a convenient afternoon — our emergency line gets a technician routed same-day, any day of the week. Emergency calls are handled by a live dispatcher rather than an automated system, since urgent situations need a real person making routing decisions.
Homeowners get a tailored plan — species identified, treatment scoped to the actual infestation, and a follow-up schedule that matches what was found. We walk new customers through the difference between a single treatment and an ongoing program, since the right choice depends heavily on what's actually driving the activity.
Restaurants, warehouses, and property management portfolios get documented, IPM-compliant service scheduled around your operating hours, with logs ready for health inspections. We coordinate around business hours and foot traffic patterns for commercial accounts, so treatment doesn't interrupt operations during peak times.
Not every pest problem is solved the same way, which is why specialized jobs get matched to technicians trained specifically for that species. Specialized service categories carry their own equipment loadout and, in some cases, separate state licensing that we verify before dispatch.
Ongoing perimeter service is scheduled around regional seasonal pressure, not a fixed calendar that ignores what's actually happening outside. We track which pests trend upward across Juneau City and Borough County, AK by season and adjust perimeter treatment focus accordingly, rather than applying the same generic barrier spray year-round.
A standalone inspection — for a home purchase, a suspected but unconfirmed problem, or general peace of mind — gets the same thorough walkthrough as a full-service call. We use moisture meters, UV inspection tools, and visual harborage checks depending on what's suspected, rather than a quick walk-through that misses what's behind the walls.
Tell us what you're seeing and where — that single call determines which technician and equipment get dispatched. The more specific the description, the more accurately we can match a technician's equipment loadout before they ever leave the shop.
Dispatch is based on proximity and availability, not a fixed appointment slot three days out. Technicians carry equipment for the scenarios most common across Juneau City and Borough so a second trip for supplies is rarely necessary.
You'll know the full cost and the treatment plan before anything starts — no verbal estimate that changes once the work is underway. If the scope turns out larger than expected, you'll see an updated written quote before we proceed, not a surprise on the final invoice.
Treatment is completed on schedule, with a documented follow-up visit built into the service agreement if activity continues. A follow-up visit is scheduled automatically when the treatment type calls for one, rather than leaving it to the customer to remember to call back.
Every technician we send is state-licensed and covered by full liability insurance, so Nex Pest Control is accountable for the work from the first inspection to the final walkthrough. Insurance documentation is available on request, which matters for property managers and commercial accounts that need it on file.
Dispatch is handled by people who know Juneau City and Borough's towns and unincorporated areas, which is why arrival windows here run tighter than a typical national chain. We keep technicians positioned across Juneau City and Borough specifically so a same-day request doesn't mean waiting for someone to drive in from another region.
You get one number in writing after the inspection — treatment cost, follow-up terms, and what's covered — before a single tool comes out of the truck. We price by the scope of the actual infestation and property size, not a generic flat rate that ignores what the inspection found.
Our satisfaction guarantee is documented on the invoice itself: continued activity gets a free return visit, full stop. The guarantee terms are explained before you sign off on the quote, not buried in fine print discovered only if something goes wrong.
We don't consider a job finished until the guarantee period has passed with no reported activity — that standard is documented, not just implied. The guarantee terms vary slightly by treatment type, and we walk through exactly what's covered before any work begins, so there's no ambiguity later.
If a guarantee-covered issue resurfaces, the return visit is scheduled with the same priority as a new emergency call, not pushed to the back of the queue. Most guarantee-window callbacks trace back to a specific missed entry point or harborage spot, which we document and correct on the return visit.
The technician actually explained what he found instead of just spraying and leaving. First company that's done that in three tries.
We manage twelve rental units and needed one company that could handle all of them on a documented schedule. This has been the most consistent by far.
Called on a Sunday about wasps near our kids' play area. Someone was out within a few hours, not the following week.
Restaurant owner here — inspection paperwork has been flawless for two years running. That matters more than people realize.
Quoted price matched the final invoice exactly. No surprise line items, which is rarer than it should be in this industry.
Follow-up visit happened exactly when they said it would, no reminder call needed on our end.
Switched to their quarterly perimeter plan after years of one-off treatments. Genuinely noticed less seasonal activity by the second year.
Needed a diagnostic inspection before closing on a house. Report was thorough and delivered fast enough to meet our deadline.

Our emergency line covers urgent situations across insects and wildlife alike, with a live dispatcher answering any hour. A real person answers the emergency line — not an automated system — at any hour, every day of the year.
Licensing is checked and current for every technician on staff, not just the ones handling routine calls. We track renewal dates internally so a lapsed certification never puts a technician back out on a specialized job.
Inspection covers the whole property, not just the room where you've seen activity, since most infestations extend further than the visible symptom. We check both interior and accessible exterior areas, since entry points are often outside where the activity is actually visible.

We use targeted application methods and products labeled for residential use, and we'll flag any specific precautions for your household during scheduling. If a household has specific sensitivities or concerns, mention them when scheduling so the technician can plan placement accordingly.
Continued activity after treatment gets a documented follow-up at no additional cost, per our satisfaction guarantee. A returning issue after the guarantee window has closed is still handled — usually at a reduced rate reflecting an existing customer relationship.
Yes — we service restaurants, warehouses, and property management portfolios with documented, inspection-ready reporting. Commercial scheduling is built around your operating hours specifically, so treatment doesn't disrupt business during peak times.
Depending on the treatment type, we can often complete exterior work without you present; we'll confirm what's needed when scheduling. For recurring exterior programs, many customers don't need to be present for routine visits at all.
A brief description of the activity is usually enough for us to match you with the right technician and treatment type before the visit. We'd rather ask a few extra questions upfront than send the wrong specialist and waste your time.
We can provide written reports for closings, refinancing, or insurance documentation whenever a job calls for it.
