A trap catches what's already inside; a sealed gap is what stops the next one from moving in — our Bennet, NE crew does both in one visit. Beyond droppings and noise, chewed insulation and wiring are real risks we flag on every inspection. Thoroughness on the sealing side matters as much as the trapping itself for a lasting result.
Sealing a quarter-inch gap takes different training than setting a trap, and that's specifically what our technicians do.
We move quickly on new reports in Bennet, since delay usually just means a bigger job later.
You'll know the full cost before anything's installed, priced off what the inspection actually finds.
We carry hardware cloth and rodent-proof sealant built for exclusion, not consumer-grade traps alone. We also photograph every sealed entry point before and after, so you have documentation of the exclusion work done.
Norway rats burrow at grade, so we work the foundation perimeter and deck footings, not just the attic.
Attic access almost always traces back to a roofline or eave gap, which is where sealing starts.
A mouse job lives or dies on finding every small gap — one missed opening undoes the rest.
Cleanup follows industry biohazard handling standards, not a quick vacuum and call it done.
Hardware cloth, sweeps, and vent screens go in to physically block re-entry — not a temporary patch.
Scheduled station checks with logged records for property managers who need documentation on file. We also check attic access panels and garage door seals, since those are common secondary entry points during follow-ups.
A quick description of the noise and location shapes which trap and sealing materials we bring.
We come prepared to trap and seal together, not schedule a separate trip for materials.
Inspection identifies both species and access points — foundation to roofline — before we quote anything.
Traps go out, gaps get sealed, and we schedule a follow-up check to confirm the population's cleared.
Months of store-bought traps got us nowhere. Technician found the actual gap under our deck ledger in twenty minutes.
Roof rats in the attic for weeks. Three roofline gaps sealed and the noise stopped within days.
We manage six buildings — they service all of them on a schedule and send logs I can hand to ownership.
Appreciated them explaining rat versus mouse signs before quoting anything. Didn't feel like a guessing game.
Two units in our building had chewed wiring behind the stove. Exclusion work solved it and our electrician confirmed no further risk.
We dispatch across Bennet and nearby Bennet, NE areas, with priority routing toward older homes and properties bordering open lots. Properties near open fields or construction sites in Bennet tend to see rodent pressure spike seasonally, which shapes our routing. A documented history of past sealing work helps the next technician quickly rule out already-addressed entry points.
Gnaw-mark size and dropping shape usually settle it, and the technician confirms on inspection. We also inspect the roofline and chimney area during a standard visit, since those are entry points homeowners rarely think to check themselves.
Exclusion is the permanent piece; trapping without it just resets the clock. We'd rather take the extra time to seal every gap properly than leave one open and get a callback in a few months.
Dry sweeping can release airborne particles, so it's safer to leave cleanup to the visit.
A typical job is a single day plus a short recheck window.
We lean on traps and exclusion before rodenticide in most residential jobs.
Easy food access, standing water, clutter, and unsealed foundation gaps are the usual suspects. It's worth checking your attic access panel periodically, since that's a common secondary entry point we find at follow-ups.
Trapping and sealing in the same visit beats a cycle of traps that never quite finish the job.
