A trap catches what's already inside; a sealed gap is what stops the next one from moving in — our Rollingwood, TX crew does both in one visit. Beyond droppings and noise, chewed insulation and wiring are real risks we flag on every inspection. A single missed gap can undo weeks of otherwise successful trapping and sealing work.
Our team treats this as construction work as much as pest control — hardware cloth, sealant, door sweeps, not just bait.
We move quickly on new reports in Rollingwood, since delay usually just means a bigger job later.
Inspection sets one number covering both trap placement and exclusion work — no separate invoice for each.
Snap traps, one-way exclusion doors, thermal imaging for nest zones, and sanitation gear for the cleanup after. Each job comes with before-and-after photos of the sealed gaps.
Norway rats burrow at grade, so we work the foundation perimeter and deck footings, not just the attic.
Roof rats travel power lines and branches into attics — we seal soffits and roofline gaps specifically.
A mouse job lives or dies on finding every small gap — one missed opening undoes the rest.
Contaminated insulation and droppings get removed and the space sanitized once trapping wraps up.
Hardware cloth, sweeps, and vent screens go in to physically block re-entry — not a temporary patch.
Recurring service for multi-unit properties comes with a written check-in schedule, not an occasional drive-by. A seasonal walk-around of the foundation catches new gaps that open after freeze-thaw cycles.
A quick description of the noise and location shapes which trap and sealing materials we bring.
The technician shows up with both trapping and sealing supplies loaded, ready to handle it in one visit.
Inspection identifies both species and access points — foundation to roofline — before we quote anything.
Traps go out, gaps get sealed, and we schedule a follow-up check to confirm the population's cleared.
Months of store-bought traps got us nowhere. Technician found the actual gap under our deck ledger in twenty minutes.
Roof rats in the attic for weeks. Three roofline gaps sealed and the noise stopped within days.
We manage six buildings — they service all of them on a schedule and send logs I can hand to ownership.
Appreciated them explaining rat versus mouse signs before quoting anything. Didn't feel like a guessing game.
Two units in our building had chewed wiring behind the stove. Exclusion work solved it and our electrician confirmed no further risk.
We dispatch across Rollingwood and nearby Rollingwood, TX areas, with priority routing toward older homes and properties bordering open lots. Properties near open fields or construction sites in Rollingwood tend to see rodent pressure spike seasonally, which shapes our routing. We also keep records of prior exclusion work at a property, which speeds up diagnosis if a new gap opens up in a different spot later.
Gnaw-mark size and dropping shape usually settle it, and the technician confirms on inspection. A full inspection covers roofline and chimney access alongside the foundation, since rodents use whichever gap is easiest.
Yes — trapping clears what's inside now, but sealing is what keeps the next one from moving in. A thorough seal job on the first visit is what actually prevents a second call a few months later, which is why we'd rather spend extra time sealing than rush to the next job.
Dry sweeping can release airborne particles, so it's safer to leave cleanup to the visit.
A typical job is a single day plus a short recheck window.
Mechanical trapping and sealing come first, especially around pets and kids; bait stations are reserved for specific situations like commercial perimeters.
Easy food access, standing water, clutter, and unsealed foundation gaps are the usual suspects. We recommend a seasonal walk-around of the foundation, since freeze-thaw cycles can open new gaps.
Trapping and sealing in the same visit beats a cycle of traps that never quite finish the job.
